2.2.10 CHARGE LAMP (INSTRUMENT
PANEL)
When the alternator does not generate enough power due to
its malfunction during the engine's running, the charge lamp
comes on to warn the malfunction in the charge system.
Also, this lamp comes on when the ignition switch is in the
"ON" position with the engine stopped. If the charge sys-
tem is intact, it goes off after starting the engine. The op-
eration of the charge lamp is not controlled by the MICOM.
2.2.12 IGNITION SWITCH
When turning the ignition switch from the "ON" to "OFF"
position, electric power is supplied to the engine stop sole-
noid for 5 seconds and the automatic engine stop function
operates. If turning the ignition switch to the "START" posi-
tion while the straw discharge alarm is activated, electric
power is supplied to the engine stop motor for 5 seconds
and the automatic engine stop function operates. Then, the
engine cannot be started.

2.2.11 OIL LAMP (INSTRUMENT PANEL)
When the engine oil pressure drops due to a low oil level or
the malfunctioning oil pump, the oil lamp on the instrument
panel comes on.
Also, this lamp comes on when the ignition switch is in the
"ON" position with the engine stopped. If the oil pressure is nor-
mal, it goes off after starting the engine. The operation of the
oil lamp is not controlled by the MICOM.
