5.1 OVERVIEW
The power steering lever can raise up, lower or turn the
reaping unit or change directions of the unit. These opera-
tions can simultaneously be performed.
• The reaping unit is lifted or lowered when pushing the
power steering lever forward or rearward.
• By pushing the power steering lever to the left or right,
the operator can change moving direction of combine
harvester with the steering clutch disengaged or the
brake operated. Also, the amount of applied power to
the steering lever can adjust the level of braking and
allow the combine harvester to make a wide or sharp
corner turn.
• By pushing the steering lever diagonally, the operator
can raise up the reaping unit, change the combine har-
vester's moving direction, or make a sharp turn. There-
fore, the combine harvester's direction can be adjusted
while lifting the reaping unit.
