2.3 COMPONENTS RELATED TO BASE SHAFT
2.3.1 TENSION PLATE
1. Unscrew the nut and remove the tension spring and its
plate.
2. Undo three bolts and remove the tension plate and 16
T gear as a unit.

(1) Hex. nut (RH) (3) 38T gear

2.3.3 38T GEAR
1. Set a spanner (26 mm) to the hex. nut (RH) to stop ro-
tation. Unscrew the mounting nut of the 38T gear.
2. Undo three bolts and remove the 38T gear by rotating it
counterclockwise.
3. Remove the base shaft assembly.
2.3.2 SCRAPER GUIDE
1. Remove the snap pin and scraper guide. Unscrew the
mounting nut of the 38T gear.
2. Undo three bolts and remove the 38T gear by rotating it
counterclockwise.
