2.6 REMOVAL OF HST
2.6.1 REMOVAL WITHOUT DETACHING
REAPING UNIT
1. Set the reaping unit to the highest position and put the
reaping unit lowering lock switch to the lock position.
2. For safety, support the reaping unit with proper support-
ing materials.
3. Remove the pedal lock lever (2). Detach the footstep
rubber (1) from the footstep.
4. Remove the HST rod (5).
5. Remove the range shift rod, neutral rod and neutral
plate for easier removal.
6. Remove the brake pedal and parking brake lever.
7. Disconnect the suction hose (7) and drain hose (6).
Clamp them to prevent oil leakage.
8. Unscrew three bolts and four nuts and remove the HST
assembly.
9. Tie the HST with a wire and pull it out over the footstep.
