4.5 TROUBLESHOOTING
Symptom Cause Action
The automatic feeding depth
control function does not
operate and the automatic
feeding depth control lamp
does not come on.
• The check lamp does not operate correctly when
turning the ignition switch.
- The MICOM unit is not supplied with power.
- Or faulty ground of the MICOM unit
• Faulty input signal from the automatic feeding depth
control switch
• Power to MICOM unit
• Ground of MICOM unit
• Input signal wire
The automatic feeding depth
control lamp does not come
on (though the function
operates).
• Power is not supplied to the automatic feeding
depth control lamp.
• Blown lamp bulb

The automatic feeding depth
control lamp comes on but
the automatic feeding depth
control function does not
operate.
• There is no relay sound from the threshing controller
when either the deep and shallow control is engaged.
- Faulty input signal from the threshing switch (open
circuit)
- Faulty input signal from the straw sensor (open
circuit)
- Faulty input signal from the reverse switch
(ground)
- Faulty input signal from the neutral switch (open
circuit)
- Faulty input signal from the vehicle speed sensor
(open circuit)
- Faulty input signal from the grain sensors S1·S2
- Defective limit switch (manual operation
unavailable as well)
• There is relay sound from the threshing controller
when either the deep and shallow control is
engaged.
- Faulty feeding depth control motor to power (open
circuit)
- Faulty feeding depth control motor to ground
(open circuit)

- No power is supplied to the feeding depth control
relay (shallow relay).
