1.2 DETACHMENT AND ATTACHMENT OF REAPING UNIT
1.2.1 DETACHMENT
1. Park the combine harvester on a fi rm level ground.
2. Start the engine and raise the reaping unit slightly to fi x
the reaping unit stand (1).
3. Lower the reaping unit and stop the engine.
4. Undo the wiring cable (3) and unscrew four reaping unit
mounting bolts (4).
5. Disengage the fi xing clip (5).
6. Start the engine and drive the combine harvester back-
ward slowly.
1.2.2 ATTACHMENT
1. Attachment work should follow the detachment proce-
dures in the reverse order.
(1) Reaping unit stand
(2) Reaping unit mounting pin
(3) Reaping unit connecting wiring cable
(4) Reaping unit mounting bolts (4 EA)
(5) Fixing clip
(6) Reaping drive belt
(7) Reaping unit connecting pin
(8) Connecting head pin
(A) Reverse driving
• When driving the combine harvester, maintain the
engine speed at 2,000 rpm or faster and engage the
range shift lever to the low speed and the main shift
lever to the slowest speed.
• This work should be performed on a fi rm level ground.
CAUTION
7. Remove the reaping drive belt (6) and connecting pin
(7).
8. Remove the connecting head pin (8) and drive the
combine harvester backward.
