7.1.8 CHECKING ELECTRONIC PICK UP
SENSOR
1. Disconnect the connector.
2. Set the tester to the [ACV] range.
3. Start the engine.
4. Measure the voltage between the terminals. If there is
voltage, the sensor is normal.

7.1.9 CHECKING GRAIN SENSOR

If the above values read, the relay is normal.
• If the grain sensor is normal, check the connector and
wiring.
• Be careful with the rotating part around.
• If the electronic pick up sensor is normal, check the
connector and wiring.
CAUTION
7.1.7 CHECKING VEHICLE SPEED
(ROTARY) SENSOR
1. Remove the vehicle speed sensor from the combine
harvester.
2. With the connector connected, install the measuring
terminal of the tester between the connectors 1 and 3.
• (-) terminal: 1, (+) terminal: 3
3. Set the tester to the [DCV] range.
4. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
5. Turn the A section on the sensor slowly with a hand.
6. If the pointer on the tester moves at short intervals, the
sensor is normal.
• It is not recommended to perform this test with a digi-
tal tester.
• If the vehicle speed sensor is normal, check the con-
nector and wiring.
