When changing direction or cornering, the steering control
solenoid value switches and the oil from the right and left
steering clutch cylinders pushes out the appropriate piston.
As this occurs, the steering clutch in the transmission case
is disengaged. Also, when the piston is pushed out approx.
16 mm (1st stroke), the oil will be sent to the variable relief
valve from the brake port.
The hydraulic pressure to the variable relief valve rises as
the power steering lever is moved further. Therefore, the
brake operates as the piston is pushed harder. In the 2nd
stroke, the piston is pushed out by max. 25 mm to operate
the brake.
