C. ADJUSTMENT OF POWER BRAKE ARM
1. Check whether or not the gap A (between the brake arm
and the variable relief valve) is 0.1 ~ 0.4 mm and the
play B of the power brake cable end is 0.3 ~ 1.9 mm.
2. If the value for A or B is out of the standard value,
adjust its distance with the adjusting nut of the power
brake cable.

For more responsive operation of the brake with the
power steering lever, adjust the cable's length.
NOTE:
1.2.9 ADJUSTMENT AFTER INSTALLATION
A. ADJUSTMENT OF PARKING BRAKE CABLE
Depress the brake pedal 5 times. Adjust the parking
brake pedal free play so that its depressed point is 0
mm to 5 mm from the top position. Then, adjust the
brake cable so that the left and right clutch levers do
not pull the brake cable.

B. ADJUSTMENT OF BRAKE BOLT
1. With the side clutch arms pressed to the arrow mark,
adjust the gap A (between the side clutch arms and the
brake bolts) to be 1 ~ 2 mm.
2. Apply small amount of LOCTITE to the mounting bolt
and nut of the brake bolt when installation.
(1) Margin: 0 ~ 5 mm (4) Stopper
(2) Parking brake cable (5) Side clutch lever (LH)
(3) Side clutch lever (RH)
(1) Clutch arm (2) Brake bolt
(1) Adjusting nut (3) Brake arm
(2) Power brake cable (4) Variable relief valve
