A. PUMP ELEMENT
The pump element (1) consists of the plunger (3) and cyl-
inder (2). Their sliding surfaces are precisely machined to
maintain fuel tightness. The plunger (3) fi ts in the control
sleeve (5) at the driving surface (7). The sleeve is engaged
with the control rack, which rotates the plunger in the cylin-
der to control the amount of fuel delivery.

The injection pump is BOSCH K type mini injection pump.
It features a compact and light weight design.
