Figure 115):
Scaling
- CO

, PAW, Flow, Tidal Volume
The user can select a scale for each of the
parameters above or can select the “auto” option.
If the “auto” option is selected for CO
2
, PAW, Flow, or
O
2
, the Apollo will automatically adjust the scale to
the next higher or lower scale if the current scale is
exceeded.
If the “auto” option is selected for Tidal Volume, a
suitable scale will be selected based on the set
patient age:
0 to 2 years: 150 mL
>2 years to 10 years: 500 ML
>10 years: 1000 mL
Units
- CO

: mmHg, Vol.%, kPa
- P
AW: hPa, mbar, cmH
2
O
- Supply Pressure: kPa, bar, psi
- Agents: Vol.%, kPa
- Weight: kg, lbs.
Gas Monitoring
- MAC display: Yes or No
This setting determines whether the MAC factor is
displayed or not.
- Related to age: Yes or No
This setting determines whether the MAC factor is
corrected for patient age or not. See page 118 for a
detailed explanation of the MAC definition and
calculation.
Optional Parameters
This setting determines whether SpO
2
values are
displayed or not (if available).
- SpO

: Yes or No
