Definitions
Maintenance intervals
The workstation and its components must be cleaned
and disinfected before every maintenance operation,
especially before returning for repair.
Inspection: examination of actual condition
Service: measures to maintain specified condition
Repair: measures to restore specified condition
Maintenance: inspection, service, and repair, where
necessary
Preventive
Maintenance: maintenance measures at regular
intervals
Water trap Replace when dirty or when the message
CHECK SAMPLE LINE is displayed (if the sample line is free of blockages and not
kinked) and at least every four weeks.
O
2 sensor Replacement of O2 sensors is not necessary in conjunction with consumption-free
O
2 measurement.
Flow sensors Replace when calibration is no longer possible or if an error message is displayed.
AGS filter Replace when blocked.
Filter of the endotracheal aspiration
system Replace every two weeks.
Nafion hose on patient gas module with
bacterial filter Must be replaced every two years by authorized representative of DrägerService.
Filter mat, patient gas module Must be replaced once per year by authorized representative of DrägerService.
Filter mat, power pack Must be replaced once per year by authorized representative of DrägerService.
Filter mat, housing cover Must be replaced every two years by authorized representative of DrägerService.
Dust filter, ventilator unit Must be replaced once per year by authorized representative of DrägerService.
Upper diaphragm of ventilator unit Must be replaced after one year.
Lower diaphragm of ventilator unit +
O-ring Must be replaced every three years by authorized representative of DrägerService.
O-rings, Vapor plug system Must be replaced once per year by authorized representative of DrägerService.
Pressure reducer mixer for piped medical
gas supply Must be replaced every six years by authorized representative of DrägerService.
Sintered filter, gas supply block Must be replaced every two years by authorized representative of DrägerService.
PEEP diaphragm, breathing system Must be replaced every two years by authorized representative of DrägerService.
Man. Spont. – Automatic reversing
diaphragm Must be replaced every two years by authorized representative of DrägerService.
Lead gel battery in UPS Must be replaced by authorized representative of DrägerService when the
message BATTERY LOW is displayed or every three years.
Must be disposed of in accordance with local waste disposal regulations.
Inspection and maintenance Must be carried out once per every 6 months by authorized representative of
DrägerService.
