The following settings can be selected in the System
Settings Standby configuration screen (refer to
Figure 114.):
Alarm Volume
- 1 is minimum volume*
- 9 is maximum volume
*Settings 1 through 3 are not available per U.S.
standards.
Note: The alarms NO O2 DELIVERY and NO O2
SUPPLY are always annunciated at the
maximum volume, regardless of the setting.
Breathing Sound
- 0 is off
- 9 is maximum volume
The breathing sound is produced by the Breathing
Sound Emulator (BSE) module. This module
transforms the measured inspiratory and expiratory
flow values into an acoustic tone similar to a
breathing sound. The sound volume is dependent on
the set patient age in order to produce optimal
volume at all flow levels.
All alarms are still audible with the breathing sound
volume set to the maximum.

Time Format
- 12 hrs.

This selects the language of the display text.

WARNING !
Ensure that the alarm volume is set to a
sufficiently loud level.
