No spontaneous breathing. Patient must immediately be
ventilated manually!

ability.
Check that everything is connected.
Check hose system and tube.
Breathing/ventilation has stopped. Patient must immediately be
ventilated manually!
Check ventilator setting.
Caution APNEA FLOW

Breathing has stopped. Patient must immediately be ventilated
manually!
Warning Check patient's spontaneous breathing
ability.
Check ventilator setting.
Insufficient supply of fresh gas. Check fresh gas setting.
Tube kinked.
Leak in hose system.
Check hose system and tube.
Caution APNEA PRESSURE

Breathing/ventilation has stopped. Patient must immediately be ventilated
manually!
Warning Insufficient supply of fresh gas. Check fresh gas setting.
Leak or blockage in tube or hose system. Check hose system, tube, and microbial
filter.
Patient not connected. Connect patient correctly.
Caution APNEA VENTILATION No spontaneous breathing efforts by the
patient during pressure support mode.
Check the patient's trigger capability.
Set an adequate trigger.
Advisory BATTERY LOW The battery capacity of the uninterruptible
power supply is almost exhausted
(<20%).
Connect to mains power.
Check patient's condition!
Prepare manual ventilation with
100% O
2.
1. Apnea alarms priorities are based on time:
In automatic ventilation modes:
Caution = Apnea CO
2 for 0 to 30 seconds.
Warning = Apnea CO
2 for > 30 seconds.
In ventilation modes Man/Spont, Pressure Support, Monitoring, Aux.CGO with “CO2 Alarm Cascade” configured to “Yes” (see page 153):
Advisory = Apnea CO
2 for 0 to 30 seconds.
Caution = Apnea CO
2 for 31 to 60 seconds.
Warning = Apnea CO
2 for > 60 seconds.
In ventilation modes Man/Spont, Pressure Support, Monitoring, Aux.CGO with “CO2 Alarm Cascade” configured to “No” (see page 153):
Warning = Apnea CO
2 for >0 seconds.
2. Apnea alarms are categorized based on time:
Caution = Apnea flow for 0 to 30 seconds.
Warning = Apnea flow for > 30 seconds.
3. Apnea alarms are categorized based on time:
Caution = Apnea pressure for 0 to 30 seconds.
Warning = Apnea pressure for > 30 seconds.
