WARNING
Risk of negative lung pressure
If filters are blocked, the sample gas flow
could cause negative lung pressure.
When ventilating pediatric patients and ne-
onates, do not use HME filters or other filters
at the Y-piece if sample gas is being taken at
the tube adapter.
