(8) Removing the Contact Pressure Switching Unit
1) Remove the paper ejection fan unit.
2) Remove the 2 screws from the cover.
3) Remove the press spring.
Pressing the DOWN key in the HELP01
mode, to switch to Low contact pressure, will
make it easier to remove the spring.
4) Remove the 2 connectors.
5) Remove the 3 screws from the contact pressure
switching unit, and remove the unit.
(Before removing the screws, press the UP
key in the HELP01 mode to shift the unit to
the Low contact pressure position and expose the
screws.)
