8. Check the following points.

9. Tighten 3 screws that were temporarily set. (Torque: 10kgf) (Screws to tighten are
those shown in Figure 4-96.)
10. Remove thickness gauges.
11. Move the Head Tilt Adjuster fully to the left and right, checking that Head and
Weight have no interference. If there is interference, repeat the reassembly steps.

12. Shift the Carriage to the right end, then tighten 1 screw that was temporarily set.
(Torque: 10kgf) (Screw to tighten is shown in Figure 4-94.)
13. Execute adjustments to be performed after Head replacement. (Refer to 4.3.3.3
"Replacing the Printhead".)
14. Install R Inside Cover.
15. Install L Side Cover.
16. Install R Side Cover.
17. Install Carriage Cover.
Weight and Weight Retainers are aligned in
a straight line.
Weight side line and CR Frame line are
aligned in a straight line.
Bottom of Weight arrives at CR Frame.
No interference at these locations
