User Paper Setup Menu
Selecting this mode allows detection of the thickness of the available paper, and
registration of up to 10 user-defined papers. Setup relate to paper (paper feed
adjustment values, ink drying time, cut method, cut pressure, MW print adjustment,
suction) can be registered for each type of paper.
 Setup
1. Select the user paper setup menu from the panel.
2. Select the paper No. ('STD', '1'~'10').
3. Print the paper thickness detection pattern (If select STD, printing is not needed).
4. Check the printed adjustment patterns and enter the number of the pattern with the
least displacement for each adjustment item.
5. Enter the cut pressure value.
6. Select cut method.
7. Enter paper feed adjustment value.
8. Enter the ink drying time for each pass.
9. Select suction.
10. Enter MW print quality adjustment
NOTE: Setup relate to paper can be made regardless of paper No.
 Table 8-11 shown the User Paper Setup Menus.
NOTE1: Underlined values are the default settings.
NOTE2: (*1) When HC2/AY ink is set, it is not displayed. (Its setup value is
default.)
NOTE3: (*2) When HC2/AY ink is set, actual operation will be different.
