NOTE1: (*1) If `STD` is selected on Paper select, Paper Thickness Detection
Pattern Print and Paper Thickness No. Select may not be displayed. It
should be displayed only when paper "1" ~ "10" is selected.
NOTE2: (*2) "PAT PRINTING" is displayed during printing pattern.
NOTE3: (*3) Default display for Paper Thickness No. Select is the No.
corresponds to the paper thickness adjusted Gap adjustment.
NOTE4: (*4) Depend on the results of set paper by paper thickness sensor, PG
small or big is selected for printing.
NOTE5: (*5) When HC2/AY ink is set, it cannot be set.
Maintenance Menu
Cutter Blade Replacement
Selecting this mode allows the user to replace the cutter blade.
Setup
1. Select the cutter replacement menus from the panel.
(The cutter replacement menu can be selected with pushing SelecType button for 5
sec.)
2. Open the front cover on the guide.
3. Replace the cutter blade following the guide.
4. Close the front cover on the guide.
The following table includes the steps/messages that must be followed to replace
the cutter.

When each setting of from Cut pressure to Print quality is selected by
command, such command is applied.

Set value on panel by user is applied even for user registered paper and
Cut pressure ~ Print quality is selected by command.

Paper thickness (*1)
Print out paper pressure detection pattern (*2), and paper thickness No
(*3). When PAPER THK NO.="AUTO" is selected, paper thickness
setup from driver has priority.
(When "STD" is selected, this is not executed.) (*4)
However, when HCD/AY ink is set, AUTO cannot be selected.
Cut pressure
Select cutter pressure when paper is cut. Pressure should be low for thin
and inelastic paper. Value (each printer) of manufacturer setup is
displayed as 100% and it is the maximum of warranty setup value.
Possible setup range is 110%~0%.
Cut method
Select Cut Method when paper is cut.
4 step cut should be selected for weak and inelastic paper.
Paper feed adjustment

Set paper fed. If the value is not 0.00, command setup value (SN 03H
00H 00H 82H m2) from driver and SN menu of maintenance mode 1is
ignored and set value here is used.
Ink drying time
Set Ink Drying Time for each pass.
The carriage stops for a period of time set by users at both end side of
the printer. However, when HCD/AY ink is set, drying time is set for
each page so that the carriage stops between pages.
Paper suction
Set Paper Suction to stabilize a paper on the platen.
Select "Weak" or "Weakest" if paper cannot be fed such as thin paper
(film etc.)
MW print adjustment

Adjust micro weave mode
If print speed has priority, set the value low. If quality has priority, set
the value high.
