System board and components
Note on network settings recovery
I When replacing the system board, network configuration settings in the
system will be lost and replaced by default values. This applies to all
static IP address and LAN teaming configurations.
Ensure to note down your current network settings before replacing the
system board.

I Before removing the memory modules, take a note on the
installation slot number for each memory module. Make sure that
you reinstall the memory modules in the slot they were located
before the replacement.
Ê System with liquid cooling:

Ê Remove all memory modules, see section "Removing a memory
module" on page 330.
Ê Remove all fans, see section "Removing the defective fan module" on
page 198.
