Description
The high-voltage power supply is adjusted to the voltage marked on the
A6Al
HV Module.
The
A6Al
HV Module is characterized in the factory to ensure that the display filament
voltage is set to 6.0 V rms when the
+llO
Vdc (
nominal) supply is set to the voltage marked
on the HV Module.
Warning
To minimize shock hazard, use a nonmetallic adjustment tool when adjusting the
A6 Power Supply.
Warning
The following procedure probes voltages that, if contacted, could cause
personal injury or death.
Note
Adjustment of the high-voltage power supply should not be a routine
maintenance procedure. Any adjustments should be done only if the A6 Power
Supply,
A6Al
HV Module, or Al8 CRT (display) is repaired or replaced.
Note
You must perform the display adjustments after this adjustment if either the
display or HV Module has been replaced.
