5.17.1 Pressure Disk: Final Grinding Required
This type of pressure disk is supplied oversize in height and requires grinding
to dimensions specied on the General Assembly drawing.
Pressure disk or valve disk height = Pocket depth - (Manifold thickness +
nozzle ange + air gap)

Calculate Pressure Disk Height:
1. Calculate the following dimensions at ambient (room) temperature:
a) Measure the depth of the nozzle bore “a” from the top of the manifold
plate to the nozzle support base.
