Warning: DO NOT use the
Omnipod 5 System if you are taking
hydroxyurea, a medication used in
the treatment of diseases including
cancer and sickle cell anaemia. Your
DexcomG6 sensor glucose values may
be falsely elevated and result in over-
delivery of insulin, which can result in
severe hypoglycaemia.
Sensor Precautions
Caution: You cannot use the
Dexcom G6 receiver with the
Omnipod 5 System because the
Omnipod 5 System is only compatible
with the G6 app on a smartphone.
