Settings for Function
Setting the Material of the Target to Measure
Select the appropriate linearity coefficient setting depending on the target to the measurement.
Multiviewer Explore : [Bank] | [(Bank data name)] (double-click)
→ Edit pane : [Sensing setting] icon ( )
→ Sensing settings window : [Operating mode]
This setting does not affect linearity.
Item Setting item Setting value Description
Operation mode Material Normal (default value) A measurement can be performed at specific linearity
regardless of the type of target to measure.
Usually, select this setting.
Mirror This setting allows for high linearity measurement if the
surface of
the object gives a mirror-like reflection, such as
with glass, wafer, or metallic luster objects.
Rough Selecting the mode when the surface is diffusing, possible
to
acquire
the high linearity measurement of resin, ceramic,
or etc.

Select the material of the target to measure
at [Material].
The material of the target to measure can also be set by the operating keys on the Sensor Controller.
