Basic configuration
• After the connection has been established, pull the wire gently, to make sure that the connection has been made
securely.
• Being careful not to accidently be injured when pushing the release b
utton with a screwdriver, make sure to tightly
secure to the terminal block.
• Do not use 24V power terminal board which is used inZW-CE series.

Connecting to a Personal Computer
Connect a personal computer and the Sensor Controller through an Ethernet cable to perform sensor settings
and monitoring from Sysmac Studio.
Prepare commercially available Ethernet cable satisfying the following requirements:
• Category 5e or more, 30 m or less
• RJ45 connector (8-pin modular jack)
• For direct connection: Select cross cable.
• For connection through a network hub: Select straight cable.
After connecting an Ethernet cable between the Sensor Controller and a
personal computer, set the IP address wh
ich
is different from the Network address of Sensor Controller.
•When using single wire, or stranded wire
Insert the wire deeply in to the terminal hole while push-
ing the release button on the side of terminal hole using
a screw
driver
.
3 Reinstall the 24 V input terminal block to the Sensor
Controller.
1 Insert one end of the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet
connector of the controller.
2 Insert another end of the Ethernet cable into the
Ethernet connector of the external device.
