Item Setting item Setting value Description
Exposure time Exposure control
mode
Auto (default value) Automatically sets the amount of emitted light within the
range that does not exceed the specified upper limit.
Usually, select this setting.
Manual Select this mode when you want to specify the amount of
emitted
light, and set the amount of emitted light (fixed
value).
Amount of
emit
ted li
ght
(maximum)
0.01 to 100.00 (default value) [%] When [Auto] is selected for light exposure control mode, set
the upper limit value for the amount of emitted light. The
amount of emitted light is set on the assumption that
([Measurement cycle]-3) μs is taken as 100%.
Amount of
emit
ted li
ght
(minimum)
0.01 (default value) to 100.00 [%] When [Auto] is selected for light exposure control mode, set
the lower limit value for the amount of emitted light. The
amount of emitted light is set on the assumption that
([Measurement cycle]-3) μs is taken as 100%.
Amount of
emit
ted li
ght
(fixed)
0.01 to 100.00 (default value) [%] When [Fixed] is selected for light exposure control mode,
set the fixed value for the amount of emitted light. The
amount of emitted light is set on the assumption that
([Measurement cycle]-3) μs is taken as 100%.
Control edge 1 surface/2 surfaces/3
surf
aces/
4 surfaces/Peak (default value)
Select the measurement surface target for light adjustment.
Use this setting for multiple measurement surfaces.
The peak is the surface of all measu
rement surfaces having
the highest received light amount.
1
Select the light exposure control mode from
[Light exposure control mode].
2
Set [Amount of emitted light] and [Control
edge].
• In the sensing monitor window, you can check whether the waveform of received light is obtained correctly as set
up.
Displaying Measured Values and Received Light Waveform p.91
• The amount of emitted light cannot be exactly same as setting value [%] and actual control value [%] due to the
control resolution difference of Sensor Controller (0.1[μs]). The minimum value of control resolution is 0.1[μs ].
