Modifying the AP Host Name
You can change the host name of an AP through the SCALANCE W UI or the CLI.
In the SCALANCE W UI
To change the host name:
1. On the Access Points tab, click the AP you want to rename.
2. Click the edit link.
3. Edit the AP name in Name. You can specify a name of up to 32 ASCII characters.
4. Click OK.
In the CLI
To change the name:
(scalance)# hostname <name>
