Remove file from sequence
Remove f ile from sequence
Individual files can be removed from the sequence.
Treatment, file system reset
1. Select a file from the file list of the Endodontics program to remove it
from the sequence. Touch the ↑ and ↓ keys.

➢ Touch the file in the file list.
 The selected position is highlighted orange.
2. Switch to the
Endodontics sub-screen and touch the Delete key > 2 s.
 The selected file is removed from the sequence.

In the Endodontics sub-screen, file-specific settings such as changed
speed and torque values [ → 118] can be saved.
With ApexLocator functions
In addition, the system will save the following settings that apply to the
entire treatment:
● Sequence of files [ → 120]
● Automatic motor stop [ → 119]
● Auto reverse function [ → 119]
✔ The corresponding settings are made.
✔ The Endodontics sub-screen is displayed.
➢ Press and hold the
Memory key (> 2 s).
 An audible signal sounds. The settings you have made will be
saved for every file and the entire treatment session.
The settings that apply for the whole treatment are saved automatically
when the treatment is completed. This also applies for factory treatments.
IMPORTANT
Automatic file system reset
When the treatment function is completed, the files removed from the
file system are inserted again, the added files are deleted again, and
changed speed and torque values are reset according to
recommendations of the file manufacturers.
Only treatments created by the user retain changes to file systems after
the treatment function is exited, provided that the changes were saved
previously. See “Copying existing endodontic treatment" [ → 122]. User-
created treatments are marked with a pencil symbol in the
Treatment
selection
program.
The automatic motor stop settings and the Auto-Reverse function are
always saved automatically when the Treatment function is exited.
