45.4 ip dhcp server exclude-address
Description
The ip dhcp server exclude-address command is used to specify the reserved
IP addresses which are forbidden to allocate, such as the gateway address, the
network segment broadcast address, the server address etc. To delete the
reserved IP addresses, please use no ip dhcp server exclude-address
command.
Syntax
ip dhcp server exclude-address start-ip-address end-ip-address
no ip dhcp server exclude-address start-ip-addr end-ip-address
Parameter
start-ip-address —— Specify the start IP address of the reserved IP pool.
end-ip-address —— Specify the end IP address of the reserved IP pool. Only
one IP address will be reserved if the end IP address and the start IP address
are the same.

Privilege Requirement
Only Admin, Operator and Power User level users have access to these
commands.
Example
Set the reserved IP addresses from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.9:
T2600G-28TS(config)# ip dhcp server exclude-address 192.168.1.1
192.168.1.9
45.5 ip dhcp server pool
Description
The ip dhcp server pool command is used to create the address pool of DHCP
Server and enter the dhcp configuration mode. To delete the address pool,
please use no ip dhcp server pool command.
Syntax
ip dhcp server pool pool-name
no ip dhcp server pool pool-name
Parameter
pool-name —— Specify the address pool name, ranging from 1 to 8 characters.
