Cosine (Cos) and Sine (Sin)
The following screen appears when you select the cosine or sine function.
When the Encode Type Is Set to Incremental ABZ, Incremental AZ, Incremental AB, or
Incremental A
Set the encode type II Incremental ABZ, Incremental AZ,
Incremental AB, or Incremental A.
Select Cos or Sin.
See “Setting the Source Conditions.”
Set the number of pulses per rotation.
See “Setting the Encoding Conditions.”
Resets the math result manually
Setting the Source Conditions
Set the source channel (input channel of a logic module).
(Only the channels with logic modules installed are displayed.)
When the logic source is ON
Set the logic source to ON.
Select the bits of logic signals of phases A, B, and Z
(Bit1 to Bit8).
Select the check box when the Z-phase input is inverted.
When the logic source is OFF
Set the logic source to OFF.
Select the check box when the Z-phase input is inverted.
Set the phase A signal channel.
Set the signal level to count.
Set the hysteresis ( , , ).
Set phase B.*
Set phase Z.*
* Phase B and phase Z settings are not displayed depending on the encode type.
