23.6 Configuring the Environment Settings
This section explains the following instrument settings:
Items Common to Scope Mode and Recorder Mode
Power-on action
Logic
External I/O terminal
Click sound on/off and key lock type and release method
Beep on errors, backup when the power is turned off
Turning the touch panel feature on and off

UTILITY Preference Menu (Preference)

On the waveform screen’s MENU, tap OTHERS > UTILITY, or press UTILITY.

Tap Preference, or press the soft key. The following screen appears.
Select Preference.

Turns the touch panel feature on or off.
Setting the Action to Perform at Power On (Power On Action)

Tap Power On Action, or press the soft key. The following screen appears.
Select whether to start waveform acquisition
at power on.
Select whether to enable the previous action’s settings
at power on.
Set how the instrument is to behave when the main
power switch on the side panel is turned on.
Startup Mode
Set how the instrument is to behave when the main power switch on this instrument’s side
panel is turned on.
Standby Startup: Stand by until the power switch on the front panel is turned on.
Immediate Startup: Start the instrument.
