21.2 Configuring Master Settings (/C40 option)
This section explains the following settings that are necessary for this instrument to be selected as
a master unit in IEEE1588.
Items Common to Scope Mode and Recorder Mode
• Master mode
• Clock source
• Priority1, Priority2
• Leap second

Utility System Config Time Sync Menu
1.
On the waveform screen’s MENU, tap OTHERS > UTILITY, or press UTILITY.

Tap System Config, or press the soft key.
3.
Tap Time Sync, or press the soft key. The following screen appears.
Select System
Config.
Select
Time Sync.
Set the
synchronization mode
to IEEE1588.
