Components
Allen Wrench Set
The Allen wrench set (Figure 3- 1) provided with the instrument is
required for the completion of a number of common procedures.

Aperture Levers
The aperture levers (Figure 3- 2) are used to adjust the view of the
sample surface. The left aperture lever adjusts the iris diaphragm, which
affects the field of view and contrast. Adjustments in contrast will be
more evident with higher-power objectives. The right aperture lever
adjusts the amount of light picked up by the camera.
