This section includes several common procedures with modifications
for using the DCM
II head.
Changing the Tip
Read this entire section before changing the tip.
Required Tools
The following tools are required to change the tip.
1 Two DCM II head locking pins, shown in Figure B-13.

The Dynamic Contact Module II contains a strong magnet. Therefore,
keep small metal parts away from the work area because they could
become lodged in the internal mechanisms of the DCM
II and cause
severe damage.
Use extreme care in working around the tip. The system is extremely
susceptible to damage as the result of forces applied at the tip. Use great
care in performing this procedure.
