Procedure
1 In NanoSuite, right-click in the Nano HandSet and select Initialize
to park the indenter and return the motion stage to its home position.
2 Insert the locking pins which are installed at right angles to each
other:
a Gently install the top-most locking pin first. The pin should slide
in easily with virtually no resistance. Slide the pin until
approximately half the pin length is out the far side of the head as
shown in
Figure B-15 on page B-11.
b If there is resistance try the bottom slot first.
c Next, install the second pin and slide it halfway through the head.
CAUTION
If you experience resistance during this step DO NOT force the pin,
instead attempt to change the angle of entry slightly until the pin slides
in easily.
