Settings Pane
The Settings pane in the Configuration view provides details on any
item highlighted in the Configuration pane. Information about channels,
formulas, and inputs are displayed in tabular format. You can sort the
rows in the table by column name by clicking on a column name.
To edit a channel, formula, or input, select its row in the table and view
its properties in the property tabs at the bottom of the Settings pane, as
shown in
Figure D-33.
The tab names differ depending on the type of variable that you select
(
Channels, Formulas, or Inputs), and the tab contents differ depending
on the variable that you select from the table.

Channel Tabs
For Channels, there are four available tabs:
• General Tab
• Description Tab
• Formula Tab
• Advanced Tab
General Tab
The General tab, shown in Figure D-34 on page D-26, displays the
Internal Name, which is used by NanoSuite and is fixed. However, you
can modify these parameters:
• Display Name
• Units
• Units Class...
