8.1 Measurements before starting up the system for the fi rst time
NOTICE
When working at electrical systems, observe the 5 safety rules!
 De-energize.
 Secure against reactivation.
 Ensure absence of voltage on all poles.
 Ground and short-circuit.
 Cover or block off any adjacent live parts.
• Before the system is switched on for the fi rst time
• After replacement of a conveyor/curved unit
• After changes/additions to the system
• After replacement of power supply/power/fl at ribbon cables,
the following measurements must be carried out when de-energized:
