Adjusting the primary measuring system (1)
Please note:
Depending on the tightening torque of the knurled screw, the position may vary
by ±5 µm. Always use a uniform tightening torque.
Please note:
• For optimum WT repeat
accuracy, WT must have
the same measuring
system value in AMpro.
• It is more important that
all measuring systems are
set identically than that
the encoders are set to 0.
In this procedure, the center
of the measuring system is
adjusted to the center of
the WT. Adjust the primary
measuring system if:
• the measuring system has
been replaced.
• the distance between the
measuring system and the
sensor unit has been set.
• positioning errors occur
on a WT.
1. Fold the knurled screw
of the reference system
upwards.
2. Carefully move the
reference WT under the
reference system. The
WT must not hit the
reference system!
3. Fold the knurled screw
downwards.
4. Slightly press the WT to
the left and tighten the
knurled screw lightly.
