7 Installation
7.1 Unpacking
Lift the product out of its packaging.
Dispose of the packaging material in accordance with the applicable regulations
in your country.
7.2 Installation requirements
During installation, be sure to maintain the ambient conditions specifi ed in the
Technical data (see page 184).
7.2.1 Installation position
Install the product level and plumb, at right angles, and axially parallel.
This ensures proper functioning and prevents premature wear.
7.3 Required tools
7.3.1 Mechanical system
• Machine water level (min. sensitivity 0.02 mm/m)
• Precision straight edge
• Rubber mallet
• 1 set of wrenches
• 1 set of internal hexagon wrenches
• Precision straight edge
• Spacer washers 0.1/0.2/0.25/0.5 mm
• 2 screw-on vortex M8, load capacity per 100 kg min. (for transporting the conveyor
units)
• 3 lifting straps/round slings, load capacity per 100 kg min. (for transporting the
conveyor/curved units)
7.3.2 Electrical system
• Various screwdrivers with insulating handles
• Side cutter with insulating handles
• Stripping tool with insulating handles
• Multimeter
