Setting the lateral offset of the section modules (rough setting)
Please note:
• Minimize the lateral offset
in this assembly step as
much as possible. Fine
adjustment will be carried
out at a later point in time.
• Due to thermal expansion
during operation, the
modules must always have
a distance of X = 0.5 mm.
Required tools
• Plastic feeler gage 0.5 mm
1. Check with your fi nger
in the support of the
magnetic shunt that
the lamination of
the motor coils has
no lateral offset.
2. To align the section
modules, loosen the
bottom fi xing screws of
both module holders
and move the holders
accordingly.
3. Make sure that all
modules have a distance
of X = 0.5 mm.
4. Tighten the fi xing
screws.
