DANGER
Injury or death due to incorrect connection/incorrect wiring of several safety
circuits!
In systems with several safety circuits and an incorrect connection to the section
module voltage supply, there is a risk of serious injury or even death.
Before the initial commissioning or re-commissioning of a conveyor system,
carry out a risk assessment in accordance with DIN EN ISO 12100.
There must be no connection between the section/curve modules of
different safety circuits and the power supply of the section/curve modules
(the logic supply of the printed circuit boards may be connected).
Serious injury or death from electric shock!
In areas that are marked with this danger symbol, there is a danger of severe
injuries and burns caused by potentially fatal fl ashover and electrical shock.
Observe all the requirements of NFPA 79 (NA) and DIN EN 60204-1 (EU) for
safe working on electrical installations, as well as all national and international
regulations that are applicable at the place of use.
Wear personal protective equipment that is appropriate for the place of use and
use suitable tools.
Serious injury or death due to energy stored after switch-off!
After the power supply of motors for section and curve modules has been
shut down, a risk of serious injuries and burns still exists due to energy
accumulated in the capacitors that can even lead to death.
After shutting down the power supply, access needs to be blocked by means of
separately locked protective equipment with guard locking so that the energy
present in the capacitors can dissipate.
WARNING
High electrical voltage!
Risk of severe injury or death from electric shock.
Make sure the relevant system component is not under pressure or voltage
before performing any assembly work.
Secure the system against being unintentionally switched on again.
CAUTION
Uninterruptible power supply UPS!
Voltage may be present even when the main switch is in the OFF position!
Coming in contact with electrical components can result in injury or burns
from electric shocks.
