may lead to a magnet or workpiece pallet becoming loose despite it being
correctly mounted.
Falling objects can lead to serious injuries.

Metal chips
Magnets are brittle. If two magnets or magnets with ferromagnetic materials
collide, they may crack.
Sharp chips may fl y around several meters and injure your eyes.
Avoid collisions of magnets and/or collisions of magnets with ferromagnetic
materials.
When handling larger magnets, wear safety goggles and protective gloves.
Make sure that bystanders are also protected or keep suffi cient distance.

Magnetic fi eld
Magnets generate a far-ranging, strong magnetic fi eld. They can damage
among other things, televisions and laptops, computer hard disks, credit and
debit cards, data carriers, mechanical watches, hearing aids and
loudspeakers.
Keep magnets away from all devices and objects that might be damaged by
strong magnetic fi elds.
Nickel allergy
Magnets contain nickel, also those without nickel coating.
• Some people react allergic to the contact with nickel.
• Nickel allergies may develop in case of permanent contact with objects
containing nickel.
Avoid permanent skin contact with magnets.
Avoid handling magnets if you already suffer from a nickel allergy.
