exceeds 3 MAC and the expiratory con-
centration exceeds 2.5 MAC for more
than 30 seconds.
Inspiratory anesthetic gas concentration
exceeds the high alarm limit for at least
two breaths.

gas flow.

2 HIGH Inspiratory O2 concentration exceeds the
high alarm limit.
Check O2 concentration in the fresh-gas
flow.
Warning INSP. O
2 LOW Inspiratory O2 concentration is below the
low alarm limit.
Check O2 concentration and fresh gas
setting.
Check O
2 supply.
Check breathing system and breathing
bag.

INTERN. TEMP. HIGH* Temperature inside the device is too high. Check ambient conditions.
Ensure air circulation at back of device.
Fan is defective. Call DrägerService.
Extreme, non-physiological ventilation
settings.
Check ventilator settings.
1. Caution = insp. gas concentration > high alarm limit, or
Caution = MAC > 3 for more than 180 seconds
Warning = MAC value > high alarm limit
2. Advisory = insp. gas concentration > high alarm limit for 0 to 30 seconds.
Caution = insp. gas concentration > high alarm limit for 31 to 180 seconds.
Warning = insp. gas concentration > high alarm limit for > 180 seconds.
or Warning = MAC value > high alarm limit.
3. Alarms can be activated and deactivated in the default configuration for Man.Spont.
* Alarm can be downgraded to specified lower priority or canceled.
