3-5-6-1 Introduction to Connecting Probes
Probes can be connected at any time, whether the Vivid™ S60/Vivid™ S70 is On or Off.
The Vivid™ S60/Vivid™ S70 has three DLP connectors, one RS connector and a pencil probe port.
NOTE: The RS connector is compatible only with 6Tc-RS and 9T-RS probes.
Probes can be connected or changed any time, as described below, regardless of whether the system
is powered ON or OFF.

CAUTION
HANDLE THE PROBE GENTLY WHILE CONNECTING AND DISCONNECTING.
DO NOT TOUCH THE PATIENT AND ANY OF THE CONNECTORS ON THE ULTRASOUND UNIT
SIMULTANEOUSLY, INCLUDING ULTRASOUND PROBE CONNECTORS.
