PRELIMINARY
3.) Using a pliers, carefully remove the battery from the BEP as shown in Figure 8-123
(observe that the positive pole is facing upwards).
8-5-5-5 BIOS Battery Replacement Procedure
1.) Insert the replacement BIOS battery in its slot in the BEP.
2.) Return the BEP to its location in the Vivid S60N/Vivid S70N scanner cage and complete the BEP
installation procedure:
3.) Turn ON the system and boot-up.
4.) Adjust to the correct date and time settings - see Adjust Date and Time on page 3 - 27.
