5.5 Specifying Settings for FTP File Transmissions
Checking TCP/IP Settings
In the setup screen for the image controller, select [Network Setup] — [Pro-
tocol Setup] — [TCP/IP Setup] to check whether or not transmissions are
permitted with the TCP/IP protocol. If it is not permitted, specify the setting
that allows transmissions with the TCP/IP protocol.
Enabling the FTP Transfer Function
1 Show the setup screen from the image controller operation panel.
2 Select [Network Setup] — [Service Setup] — [FTP Setup] — [Scan to
FTP] and enter the following settings.
Proxy Settings
Enter proxy settings as necessary. (Consult your network administrator to
see if proxy settings are required and the setup details.)

Set the timeout value.
[Proxy Server user name] Enter the user name of the proxy server.
[Proxy Server user pass-
word]
Enter the password of the proxy server.
