Separate Scan
The scan operation can be divided into several sessions according to the
type of document being scanned, for example, when all pages of a docu-
ment cannot be loaded into the automatic document feeder, when placing
the document on the original glass, or when single-sided documents are
mixed with double-sided documents. Touch [Separate Scan] in the Scan
Settings screen. The function is enabled when its button appears selected.
File Name
You can change the file name to be saved.

Detail
If a file name is not specified when the data was scanned, it will automat-
ically be specified by combining the mode and the date and time at the
time the file was saved. For specifying the file name, refer to “Changing
the File Name and Other Settings” on page 2-79.

Note
To clear all of the file names that are displayed, press the [C] (clear) key.
Up to 26 characters can be entered.
