If running an antivirus program on the e-mail server, the binary division
function may not be able to be used. For details, ask the network admin-
istrator.
To receive binary e-mails, an e-mail client that supports receiving sepa-
rated e-mail is required. Note that even if separated e-mail is received it
may not be combined depending on the e-mail client being used.
To perform user authentication with POP Before SMTP, the settings that
will allow POP to access the e-mail server must be specified. For details,
refer to “E-Mail Receive” on page 7-56.

Reminder
If “E-Mail TX Setting” is set to “OFF”, the e-mail transmission operations
of the image controller’s network scan functions cannot be used. In order
to use the e-mail transmission functions, be sure to select “ON”.
