4.10 Shield (No Conditioner)
4.10.1 Removing Shield (No Conditioner)
Follow these steps to remove the shielding installed on a mower configured without a conditioner:
DANGER
To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected startup of machine, always stop engine and remove key
from ignition before leaving operator's seat for any reason.
1. Raise the mower fully and extend the center-link to
maximize the space between the shield (A) and the
carrier frame (B).

2. Close the lift cylinder lock-out valves (A) on both
sides of the mower. Valve handles should be in the
horizontal position.
