4.10.2 Instal
ling Shield (No Conditioner)
Follow th e se steps to install the shielding on a mower c onfigured without a conditioner:
DANGER
To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected startup of machine, always stop engine and remove key
from ignition before leaving operator's seat for any reason.
1. Raise the mower fully and extend the center-link to
maximize the s pace between the field wheels (A) an d
the carrier frame (B).

2. Close the lift cylinder lock-out valves (A) on both
sides of the mower. Valve handles should be in the
horizontal position.

3. Rotate the shield (A) an d pas s it b etween the field
wheels and the carrier frame toward the mower.
